Dance and body expression were part of me from an early age: classical ballet, rhythmic gymnastics, contemporary dance.

I have always liked beauty in all its forms of expression.

I did my first Hatha yoga training in 2010, after a major life crisis in which everything stopped making sense and my body literally stopped.

Thanks to Bioenergetic therapy I began a process of deep personal work, healing and subsequent opening in all aspects. The therapeutic process derived in a more spiritual path and of reconnection with the divine, which by education had been denied to me.

I have practiced and experimented with different techniques and disciplines: 5 Rhythms, Feldenkrais, Chi Kung, Kabbalah, Butoh dance, Tandava meditation...

In the difficulty of staying with only one method or practice, is also part of my richness. My nature leads me to keep exploring, to continue testing and learning.

However, all techniques and disciplines lead me to the same place: the body as a form of exploration and self-knowledge. The body as a place to find the anchor, the center, the essence. The body as a connection with the divine and subtle.

I am Rosa Mendoza, body explorer. Capturer of essences.
